Barbara McMahan is an experienced international organization development consultant.  She specializes in coaching executives and professionals in developing global teams, building leadership capacity and leveraging talent.   The purpose of her consulting is to bring people together to build trust, accomplish results and affect positive change. Her underpinning philosophy is that of ethics, collaboration, compassion and professional growth.  She enjoys helping teams and individuals identify their unique strengths to create innovative opportunities.

Working in corporate, non-profit and academic settings, clients have found her approach to be practical, intuitive and fun.  Barbara has held leadership roles in HR and Organizational Development at Mike Albert Fleet Solutions, LCA Vision, Inc. Johnson & Johnson and GE.  She has consulted throughout the United States, as well as Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Mexico.    Barbara holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan, a Masters in Labor and Industrial Relations from Michigan State University and a certificate in Organization Development from NTL, Institute for Applied Behavioral Sciences.  Barbara also holds SPHR and SHRM-SCP professional certifications.

Placing a high value on giving back to the community, she has been an active volunteer with the Greater Cincinnati Human Resource Association Workforce Readiness Committee, the National Conference for Community and Justices, Jewish Federation of Cincinnati and the Leadershape Institute.  Barbara and her husband Sean live in Cincinnati with their children, golden retriever Ada and cat Vandy.
